300V stepup supply with a fast switch
Originally built for ion beam deflection purposes, this device produces pulses
with an adjustable amplitude up to 300V with a rise time of 10ns and few microseconds
length into a small capacitive load from a TTL control signal. Further information
Hex sensor temperature controller
This hex sensor temperature controller is able to measure with a resolution of
0.002 degrees at roomtemperature with an NTC, but is also able to measure with
PT1000 and thermocouples at reduced resolution. Mounted either in a C-rail case,

line power with one to four opto-relays in PWM mode despite the relays switching

5 channel serial receiver - shareware
Up to 5 serial channels can be received simultaneously. The
data can be written into one RTF file with different colors
for the channels. The data is gathered as either ASCII or hex.
While the baudrate is selectable, the portsettings are 8,N,1
It works for multiport cards, I use the Digi 8 XR,

Unix Log Viewer - shareware
Files from Unix systems, such as access log files do not
have a CR+LF, they just have a CR. This utility exchanges
the CR with a CR+LF. Placed on the WinNT desktop, a file
can be pulled over the icon. The file is opened and displayed.
The converted file can be saved with a save dialog.

Phase Noise - freeware
Calculate the jitter from the phase noise, as integral over the close sideband
spectrum selectable between 10Hz and 100kHz.
The values are referenced to 1Hz RBW, for higher RBW, subtract 10log(RBW).
FAQ why is the phase noise bigger than the pulsewidth ?
Why is the phasenoise for an integration towards zero growing to infinity ?
The phase noise can be thought of as the spread of multiple pulses at the
center frequency over the integration time. Meaning for infinite integration
time, the spread becomes infinte.
Thus defining the integration bandwidth makes sense.
